OPTIMESS MC

The OPTIMESS MC laser sensor works according to the triangulation principle. Thanks to its small dimensions and weight, the sensor is particularly suitable for measuring driving dynamics on road vehicles or in racing. The sensor is characterised by a high degree of independence of the measurement accuracy on different surfaces and from ambient light. The processor integrated in the sensor processes the optical distance information and outputs it as an analogue value or via the CAN bus. The connection is made via a 4-pole M8 socket; an integrated connection cable is also available as an option.
